Impressions of the 'Fashion International' - Show at London Fashion Week

Last week we were talking about how to enjoy London Fashion Week even if you're not in the front-row. We had the chance to attend a fashion show on Saturday, 19th September. The show took place at the elegant Ballroom of the world famous Amba Charing Cross Hotel in London.

The show we were invited to was not a main London Fashion Week Show, it was organized by 'Fashion International'. Aga Couture London, Daniel Syiem, Forever Devine, Yuvna Kim, Lenie Boya and Omar Mansoor were the designers who presented their new Spring/Summer collection for 2016.

Each line was different and it was amazing to see six different styles: from ladylike and feminine silhouettes to very straight and clear cuts, but every piece was unique and on its way perfect.
After all presentations there was a after-show-reception where you could meet the designers with their models, talk to them and take some pictures.

London Fashion Week - Enjoy it even if you're not in the front-row!

These are the days - like each year the most famous designers and brands are going to present their Spring/Summer-Collections for 2016 at London Fashion Week. After six years at Somerset House, this year it is moved to Brewer Street in Soho: the perfect place for a city-wide fashion celebration.

"The brilliant thing about Brewer Street is that we'll be able to have natural light coming in through the roof" , said Caroline Rush, the CEO of the British Fashion Council.

The idea of this trade event? The £28 billion British fashion-industry wants to show what they created to global press, industry buyers, bloggers, photographers and chancers. So just take a look at all the beautiful models wearing clothes of the most famous designers of the world. But there will be as well some newcomers who will have their first show during the next five days. Edeline Lee, Toga and Hills & Friends are mentioned as Must-See.

Festive Saree - Drape Over India’s Pride

Saree is one of the most sensuous as well as comfortable attire of Indian women. India being a country of diverse geography, culture and religion has varied adaptations of this nine yard wonder.

Another popular festive sari of this region is Organza saree. This is also called as Organdy. Organza sarees are made of light weight and transparent cotton and is adorned with chicken and Lukhnavi embroideries.

Chanderi Saree
Chanderi saree is the blend of silk and cotton fabric. Originated in Madhya Pradesh, it’s very ideal as its light weight, translucence, airy and easy to carry. The weave and designs on chanderi saree is subtle and minimalistic and is usually made in pastel colours.

Chanderi saree has a signature striped border and small butties all over the saree. Perfect for summers, chanderi sarees has two variants like cotton chanderi and silk chanderi and both are equally popular. With its graceful texture, chanderi saree makes a good option for festivities.

Tant Saree
Another famous festive saree includes Tant saree which was originated in West Bengal. Tant means, ’Made on the Loom’ and is hand-woven. These are not only beautiful but also a source of income for many underprivileged people living in districts of West Bengal.

The best part about having a Tant saree is that it serves both the purposes and can be worn on casual as well as formal occasions. Sambalpuri Saree

Imagine how long it will take to be a finished product. It is the oldest form of textile decoration in the world. Tips and Tricks of Indian Bridal Make-up

Choose your cosmetics wisely
Make sure you choose the right products keeping in mind your skin type. Use cosmetics which are tried and tested by you earlier. Don’t fall prey to experimentation on your special day as if the product doesn’t suit you, it might lead to skin allergy or rashes which may spoil the most crucial day of your life.

Prep up for pre-bridal
For the much required wedding glow, one should always resort to pre-bridal pampering session. The cleansing and facial regimen will give you the glow and radiance you always want. Make sure that you cleanse, tone, moisturise and exfoliate your face regularly.

For the lips
